BCCI Releases 14,000 More Tickets for India vs. Pakistan World Cup Clash

India and Pakistan’s Most Controversial Match Ever:

The much-anticipated World Cup clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan has generated tremendous excitement, prompting the BCCI to release an additional 14,000 tickets for the match scheduled to take place on October 14 in Ahmedabad.

The showdown between India and Pakistan will unfold at the world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, where ticket demand has surged to unprecedented levels. The Narendra Modi Stadium, known for its grandeur, is expected to be packed to capacity as the two cricketing giants face each other on Indian soil for the first time since their 2016 World T20 clash in Kolkata, a match won by the hosts.

In a statement released late on Saturday, the BCCI officially announced, “BCCI announces the release of 14,000 tickets for the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan match to be held on October 14, 2023, at Ahmedabad.” The statement also revealed that ticket sales for the match would commence at 12 PM IST on October 8, 2023, and fans could purchase tickets through the official ticketing website.

The Narendra Modi Stadium, with its staggering capacity to accommodate more than 1,30,000 spectators, made headlines when 47,000 cricket enthusiasts attended the opening match last Thursday, which featured England and New Zealand. This impressive turnout marked the highest attendance ever recorded for a World Cup opening game.

As the host nation, India is set to kick off its World Cup campaign on Sunday, facing Australia in Chennai. Meanwhile, Pakistan began its World Cup journey on a strong note, securing a victory over the Netherlands on Friday in Hyderabad. The stage is now set for an epic showdown between India and Pakistan, where cricketing history will be made once again.
