On October 2nd, in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh, tragedy struck as a 64-year-old man fell victim to a fatal tiger encounter within the confines of the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, according to an official report.

The unfortunate incident transpired in the Manpur range of the reserve on a fateful Sunday when the man ventured into the forest to graze his cattle, as narrated by Forest Ranger Mukesh Ahirwar.

When the man did not return home by evening, his concerned family initiated a search, culminating in the discovery of his lifeless body on Monday morning, as informed by Mr. Ahirwar.

Upon close examination of the site, it became evident that the man had met his demise due to a tiger attack, substantiated by the presence of the feline’s distinctive paw prints in the vicinity, as confirmed by the official.

Further legal actions, including the provision of financial support to the victim’s grieving family, are currently in progress, as per the official statement.
